The last source of energy that the system produces, which happens to be the primary supply of energy in the body for muscle contraction, is ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). The harder and heavier you lift or exercise, the quicker your supply of ATP runs out. When ATP levels drop by 30%, muscle fatigue starts to set in. In order to delay this muscle fatigue caused by ATP's depletion, the muscle must regenerate ATP at a rate close to that at which it's being depleted. The body can only regenerate so much; the muscle has a limited source of creatine to support the regeneration of ATP. Therefore, creatine monohydrate supplementation provides the extra creatine source to your muscles for the reformation of ATP. More intense activities - More output. Without creatine supplementation, lactic acid levels increase leading to greater muscle fatigue. This prevents athletes from prolonging their intense workouts.
- Citrate – very superficial;
- Phosphate – too hard for the human body to assimilate;
- Monohydrate –Best choise for your buck
- Ethyl Ester - has received most of the universities research; it has been proven to be the most effective creatine version.
- Nitrate - The new upcoming supportive and good to mix with MNO and Ethyl Ester!
Every athlete involved in any sport which requires frequent, short bursts of energy, would benefit from creatine supplementation, by replenishing ATP quicker. It is highly recommended for power lifting, weightlifting, football, soccer, bodybuilding, swimming, basketball, and hockey, just to mention a few!
In fact, NLCs are a creatine compound, but definitely not like any of the creatines you have seen before. Everybody is accustomed to the highly granular regular creatine. The Ultra Fine Micro Molecule NLC dissolves quicker and totally suspending in liquids. NLCs have no residues and are absorbed better by your stomach.
There is nothing like a lab report to provide you with an accurate breakdown of what is in the creatine. However, you can perform your own creatine taste test. Put a pinch of creatine in your mouth. You should not be able to taste any bitterness or sweetness. Look at the color, the smell. Remember, creatine is tasteless & odorless.
Any 99%-100% pure creatine is tasteless. Evidence of bitterness and/or an awful aftertaste perhaps is an indication of contamination. Another explanation could be that the original raw materials are not processed in compliance with traditional Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) pharmaceutical standards, possibly embodying other harmful agents (silent killers) which can damage your system in the long term. Another rationalization could be that the original materials were not passed through any purification process.
Leaving a sweet after taste indicates that this jar has been cut with dextrose monohydrate, which is a non-harmful single sugar, whose texture and exact white color makes it look similar to our NLCs. The motivation for scrupulous companies to cut their creatine in this manner is derived from the fact that dextrose costs as little as 80 cents a kilo. This similarity between dextrose and NLC’ Ultra Fine Micro Molecule Creatines, exposes the consumer to the possibility of fraudulent NLC infiltrating the marketplace.
High Performance Liquid Chromatography. It is one of various lab methods used to test creatine’s potency. It appears to be the most analytical and precise method to calculate creatine’s potency.
You should be aware that, although a jar of creatine may state that it contains "HPLC 100% Pure Creatine”, does not mean that it does not carry high levels of toxic impurities? In addition, the jar may even embody various fillers. Toxic impurities would be byproducts of the manufacturing process, such as:
1). DICYANDIAMIDE (DC) - a chemical that can be broken down into cyanide gas, which has been used in chemical warfare).
2). DIHYDROTRIAZINE (DT) - a chemical that is classified as "Triazine". Little is known of its level of toxicity.
3). CREATININE - a creatine byproduct. It is probably safe to ingest, but does not have any ergogenic effect.
4). SODIUM could also exist. Do you wish to pay for creatine or added salt?
CUTTING COMPOUNDS such MALTODEXTRINE a complex carbohydrate that costs as low as 35 cents a pound. It has the same texture and uniformity as creatine. Some unethical companies will cut their creatine with maltodextrine for a larger profit.
There are several countries today where creatine is manufactured. Nutritional companies can purchase creatine from Europe, USA and China. The European creatine is made with strict, high quality standards. Every production complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). It is widely recognized as the highest quality creatine. The American creatine is also considered to be a very good quality creatine, unfortunately, domestic productions cannot keep up with the demand. The Chinese creatine is lower in grade in addition to not having substantial evidence that the Chinese are following Good Manufacturing Practices. Although the companies which use Chinese creatine have it HPLC laboratory tested (which states it is of acceptable quality), the materials which the Chinese use originate from inferior quality, yielding mediocre results. Subsequently, the Chinese creatine is inexpensive to purchase, which is why some companies are selling creatine so cheap! The problem is that the Chinese creatine is also cheap in quality. You never know what you will get! The bottle may say 100% creatine in it, but there is a very good possibility that the product contains a large percentage of filler and you would not even notice. We recommend that you stay with reputable European and/or American creatine. You get what you pay for.
Why should I choose NLCs over any other creatine in the market?
NLCs are the purest Ultra-Micro-Molecule creatines available on the global market today. Some companies won’t hesitate to sell you cheap, low-grade creatines. We, on the other hand, have spared no expense in bringing you top quality creatine. MVP Labs® absolutely guarantees you that you get the finest ingredients money can buy for maximum purity, freshness & quality. If you are in the search for the purest, NLCs are the intelligent choice. We believe that you will see and feel the difference in no time.
We strongly believe that your body does not need the extra chemicals have been used in the production of effervescent creatine. All clinical studies approving and supporting creatine’s safety, have been done on the creatine powder itself, not on the marketing altered creatine products.
We suggest that you follow the guidelines that are supported by clinical studies. It is most likely that the salesperson was correct. Using more than the amount that has been clinically proven to be effective, firstly, is a waste of your money, and secondly, you would be needlessly overloading your system.
NLCs are made out of pure micronized creatine and are the finest mesh creatine available on the market today. With NLCs you can be absolutely certain that you are getting pure quality. These creatines will, without a doubt, bring you to the next level in no time by assisting you in developing quick gains in size, along with explosive power, and endurance. You will feel the true power of creatine by using NLCs.
It really does not make a difference when you consume your NLCs. Ensure that you are drinking plenty of liquids while you are taking creatine, especially during the loading phase. In order to maximize its effectiveness, you should mix NLCs with your favorite carbohydrate drink or juice. Creatine works best if taken with 6-8 fluid ounces of a high glycemic drink, principally because of the sugar content. Research has shown that when taking creatine with a high glycemic drink, your body's insulin levels increase, which attracts more creatine into your muscle cells through the process of osmosis. Grapefruit and/or apple juice are recommended. Please, see consumption guides for Next Level Creatine Monohydrate®, Next Level CreaNitro®, Next Level CreaEthyl®.
You should cycle by taking NLCs for 6-8 weeks, followed by a 4-6 week off period. By applying this method, you will always benefit from the true power of NLCs.
Weight gain varies between individuals; it could range between 5-12 lbs. within six weeks! It is rare that one would gain more than that. Several studies have shown that short distance runners actually have increased their lean body mass while supplementing creatine. The size of increase in body mass is still being researched, but many of the conclusions lead scientists to believe that the gain is due to cell volumization (osmosis). Cell volumization happens when the muscle cells are fluid ‘overloaded’ whereby more nutrients are transported into the cell. This forces the athlete to work harder during an extended workout session. The athlete can therefore build more lean muscle mass.
The facts are that more water fluid transmitted into the muscle cells under creatine supplementation.
Alpha Lipoic Acid works much like a transmitter by transporting more nutrients into the cell.
Taurine raises insulin levels and helps stimulate glucose uptake and therefore makes the effectiveness of Next Level Creatine even greater.
Prowhey - maintains a protein surplus in the muscle.
As well as, Citruline Malatate, Arginine AKG.
I have heard that NLCs & caffeine are not an effective combination. What will happen if I drink coffee while I am cycling creatine?
Creatine should be taken with a high glycemic drink that will assists in the increase of creatine movement into the muscle cells. Coffee does not meet this criterion. Creatine has a cell volumizing effect on muscle cells, causing more liquid to be drawn into the cell. Caffeine has the opposite effect, acting as a diuretic, pulling water out of the cell. A study published in Belgium, states that caffeine works contrary to what creatine is trying to accomplish. Recent studies have found that caffeine would not neutralize the effect of creatine unless you consume 8-13 cups of coffee per day. We believe that 8 cups of coffee can cause more serious problems other than just interfering with creatine. If you wish to drink coffee, plan to take your coffee break at a different time of the day.
Will NLCs upset my stomach like several other creatines have?
Standard protocol indicates that 98% of test subjects, who consumed NLCs in a controlled group case study, did not experience any upset stomach. Consumers may experience an upset stomach when they take regular creatine because, due to its larger particle size, these individuals have harder time to digest that creatine.
Will NLCs make me stronger?
If you combine anaerobic resistance training with creatine supplementation, you will be providing your contracting muscles with a continuous supply of energy by keeping levels of ATP elevated. Because of this, strength levels may improve.
Given all of the advanced university research being done on creatine, it is remarkable that there has not been any evidence of side effects resulting from creatine supplementation. Occasionally, first time users may experience frequent urination or perhaps a mild diarrhea, but this may happen within the first couple days only. We recommend that you consume only the suggested amount of creatine and drink plenty of liquids! Although, little like this effect experienced with NLCs.
At this time, if a teenager begins creatine supplementation, and consumes the recommended amounts and drinks plenty of liquids, there is no evidence, which supports that this would be unsafe in any way to the teenager. Nevertheless, more scientific and clinical studies need to be undertaken. Presently, no negative side effects have ever been reported.
Clinical studies have shown that during the creatine-loading phase, there is a minimal decrease in the human body’s creatine production. Moreover, when the athlete stops supplementation, the body restores its natural production to its previous levels.
Every individual has a different creatine pool in his/her body. It is not reasonable to expect the same output from everyone’s system. In addition, as each person’s metabolism varies, so would the results.
Are NLCs a legal performance enhancing substance?
For the time being creatine is legal principally because creatine has shown no side effects in all of the clinical studies to date.
Are NLCs safe for diabetics?
If you are a diabetic, have a kidney problem, high blood pressure or a history of illness; please consult your physician before undertaking any creatine supplementation.
Many short-term studies on creatine show that is safe to use even in longer periods, such as over 90 days. However, the public has consumed creatine as a nutritional supplement for a few years only. Therefore, there are no long-term clinical studies available. Nevertheless, at this point in time, athletes who have been supplementing with creatine for several years now have not shown any side effects.
Will NLCs help me lose the fat?
Creatine indirectly contributes to fat loss. Studies have shown that physical exercise is an essential factor for improving your metabolic rate. Without exercise and physical activity, fat loss will not happen. For example, when a man or woman diets without strength training, 25-30% of the weight loss isn't body fat at all, instead they lose water, muscle, bone and other important lean tissue. Preserving lean tissue is important for health reasons, metabolic reasons and strength reasons. In order to benefit from your creatine supplementation, you will need to incorporate a systematic resistance training routine, which will increase your lean muscle mass along with your metabolic rate. This is where creatine supplementation can help accelerate your muscle’s replenishment of the depleting ATP, by carrying more phosphates to your muscles, which have accumulated ADP following your muscle contracting. These phosphates attach to your muscles accumulated ADP making it an ATP molecule. The resulting surplus of ATP will allow you to lift longer and heavier by feeding your contracting muscles with energy. Subsequently, the longer and more intense you exercise, the more calories you will burn. This will definitely make you lose fat, consequently, increasing your confidence and self-esteem.
Will NLCs work for all users?
In order for creatine powder to be effective, the body has to absorb it and process it. Clinical studies have shown that users may not be able to process properly, up to 30% of the creatine powder they consume. Furthermore, studies suggest that during the loading phase, the excess amounts of creatine powder may lead to kidney damage. On the other hand, NLCs have the highest possible absorption rate, thereby reducing the amount of excess creatine travelling to the kidneys.
Will NLCs assist in building muscle even without exercise?
This is the biggest myth concerning creatine. Creatine is not a muscle builder. What it actually does, is help muscles work longer, allowing you to train harder, lift more weight and have more reps. This will result in muscles growing in size and strength.
NLC will provide your muscles with:
1. Faster absorption
2. More efficiency
3. Faster cells osmosis
4. Faster acting
5. Faster creation of ATP
6. Faster energy
7. Faster muscle power
Get results from your creatine - Not residue!
NLCs dissolve instantly.
Are you working on something new now?
It’s a kinda secret. We can only tell that some extremely advanced creatines will be announced by 2011. Stay tuned!
